Yeah, I got a lot to say about this clip. Here is the link again to Ed Morrissey’s take and the video.

Obama pointed out three things we can do to lower gas prices.
1) increase oil production
2) increase efficiency
3) switch to mass transit and electric/natural gas cars

The Left Does Not Separate Social Issues From Fiscal Issues

Obama thinks the man who wants lower gas prices is socially irresponsible. I can explain.

This is why the nation needs me. Nearly every right-side pundit who analyzed the exchange between Obama and the man in Pennsylvania about gas prices got it wrong.

A man asked the President about gas prices and [...]

Judge Vinson’s Decision Is A Lesson In America’s Philosophy

By Jen Kuznicki On February 13, 2011 · 5712 Commentshttp%3A%2F%2Fjenkuznicki.com%2F2011%2F02%2Fjudge-vinsons-decision-is-a-lesson-in-americas-philosophy%2FJudge+Vinson%27s+Decision+Is+A+Lesson+In+America%27s+Philosophy2011-02-14+00%3A38%3A39Jen+Kuznickihttp%3A%2F%2Fjenkuznicki.com%2F%3Fp%3D571

So, it is interesting to me that the judgment involves both the freedom of choice and the rejection of federal coercion, two natural, instinctive, could we say, inalienable rights. I believe this ruling tells the quintessential American philosophy of liberty, it swells with the intent of the founders and the contemporary spirit of the tea party. Judge Vinson has just explained why Americans instinctively rose up against this act, and should be regarded as one of the Intolerable Acts of our time. We must, as a society continue to make this President and his party of coercives understand they will not shred the Constitution of our great Nation.

Michigan Leadership Still In The Dark

With all the excitement of Michigan becoming a red state, and the Republican Party holding their convention over the weekend, I hoped it would have been a happy, festive atmosphere. But all I had to do was see the first name board at the Amway Grand Plaza/DeVos Center, and I started thinking. And the more [...]

The Conservative Argument Against Senator Jason Allen

Of the six Republican candidates running for U.S. Congress for Michigan’s First District, one is clearly not a conservative. That candidate is Senator Jason Allen.

At a meeting with local Republicans, I asserted that government must get out of the way of business in order to create jobs. With Michigan in a downward spiral for [...]

Who are you?

Political philosophy is a topic that I understand, but seems to make many people I come in contact with recoil with displeasure.  Perhaps more than a few people might think it is too heavy a topic to discuss in mixed company, or it is better left to the highly educated, or like I have always [...]
