I read Ann’s latest column with a heavy heart. I came away with the unmistakable feeling that she has lost faith in the philosophy and movement she has been a firebrand for until now. And I think about how it happens that a person at the age of 50 becomes the very cheerleader [...]

With the policies of the GOP now in place, anyone could run under the Republican banner.

The mentality of the GOP has brought it to this point in history, where the party pushes candidates who sound like Democrats in order to trick the electorate into believing Republicans aren’t really “mean” enough to expect them to [...]

The National Journal has an article about the Trump debate that is to happen on December 27th. Ron Paul and Jon Huntsman aren’t going to be there, and now Romney says he won’t “kiss the ring” of the Trumpster either.

You know, if I was Trump, I’d ask Sarah Palin to join him [...]

The Difference Between Mitt And Newt

Who would believe that Newt Gingrich holds support amongst Conservatives? His written and orally described stances on issues Conservatives know to be fraudulent would put him in the same boat as Romney. We’ve all heard the problems with him as a Conservative, his couch talk with Pelosi on Global Warming for the Al Gore website, [...]

Just as he replied to Juan Williams on FOX last week, Ron Paul again does not rule out a third-party run in an interview with CNN.

His supporters are relishing the thought, and in the CNN interview, Paul uses the same evasive wording that he did with FOX, “I have no [...]

A report that in states like Michigan, Missouri, and Texas, gas prices will or are falling to below $3 a gallon seems like good news, until you realize the reason.

Prices for oil, gasoline and other commodities dropped last week along with world stock markets over concerns of another recession.

When economies slow, [...]

Since the teaparty so effectively installed Republicans in legislative offices in Lansing last November, the time has now come to find out if those legislators will take a first bold step to increase freedom in the State.

The Michigan Freedom To Work movement has spread across the state, with many proponents rallying and asking individual [...]

Dan Riehl writes:

I have no problem stating what I’ve always understood to be the conventional grassroots blogger wisdom when it comes to RedState, it’s the single most over-rated allegedly grassroots conservative blog, made that only by its DC connections and a PR campaign. Unfortunately, lately it’s been going to extremes to prove [...]

Look, the Congressmen who voted for the Boehner deal with the supercongress, and the downgrade, and all of it are getting flak. They should. A monumental example of poor judgement and failed strategy and stupid leadership has drawn many in Congress to have to tow the line because they were [...]
